Say what you want about Robert Prechter, but he has been more right than most (nearly all economists) throughout this whole mess. Based on that alone I think he deserves to be listened to. I don't buy into technical analysis and therefore I dismiss a lot of the Elliott Wave findings but I do think that he understands social moods and he has clearly studied the causes and effects of deflation and has a firm grip on the macro environment. I have read Conquer the Crash and was shaking my head the whole time because I could not believe that it was written originally in 2002. He was right on so many things that are going on today.

This interview is about an hour long and it will make you want to sell every asset you own. If you are skeptical I'd encourage reading Conquer the Crash (preferably the 2008 edition) even if you think he is a financial (technical) alchemist read the written part and just ignore the technical analysis.
